Job summary

Marc Daniels is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant on an interim basis to maintain accurate financial records, manage month-end close, and support statutory reporting within a UK-compliant framework.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, a competitive day rate, and scope to go permanent, with focus on cost control, KPI reporting and strong stakeholder engagement across the business.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and IF formulas.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships across the business.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with a solution-focused mindset; proactive in improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely processing of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close, P&L reviews and provide commentary.
• Prepare Management Reporting post month-end and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist Line Manager with reporting, KPI tracking, and process improvements.
• Support VAT returns, statutory reporting, audits and continuous improvement.
