Job summary

The Talent Set is partnering with a leading animal welfare charity to recruit a Philanthropy Manager in London with hybrid working. You will lead a portfolio of major donors, drive high-net-worth engagement, and collaborate with fundraising colleagues to maximise transformational giving.

Reporting to senior fundraising leadership, you will develop stewardship approaches, engage supporters face-to-face, and expand the charity’s philanthropy programme for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience securing significant gifts from high-net-worth individuals.
• Experience managing the full donor journey from prospecting to stewardship.
• Strong relationship-building with supporters and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with senior leaders, ambassadors or volunteers to unlock opportunities.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of major donor prospects and existing supporters.
• Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals with tailored stewardship.
• Identify, cultivate and secure new income opportunities through proactive donor engagement.
• Re-engage lapsed supporters and develop relationships with new prospects to strengthen the major donor pipeline.
• Lead and support the Philanthropy Officer and grow the mid-value programme.
• Collaborate across the organisation to create compelling donor experiences and maximise fundraising opportunities.
