Sompo Holdings, Inc. in London is seeking a Performance Management Analyst to join the Underwriting Performance Management team.

The role focuses on evaluating performance and delivering insights for UK and London Market Insurance across multiple lines, with a hybrid London-based schedule. You will develop metrics, dashboards and MI for underwriting teams, collaborate with pricing, reserving, risk and exposure management, and present findings to senior managers.

Qualifications

• A first or a 2.1 in a mathematical or scientific degree subject.
• 2-5 years experience in underwriting analytics, performance management or related pricing/reserving/capital modelling.
• Strong IT skills in SQL, R, or Python; proficient in Excel and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of key performance metrics and reports across underwriting profitability.
• Perform portfolio analyses to extract insights and identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to portfolio management tools, dashboards and MI for underwriting teams and management.
• Communicate findings through clear presentations and emails; ensure data accuracy and quality control.
