Job summary

Sompo Holdings, Inc. in London is seeking an Insurance Technical Analyst within our Insurance Operations team on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2027.

The role focuses on risk and exposure recording, premium accounting, underwriting management information, and regulatory reporting to support business objectives. You will contribute to team plans, manage priorities, and collaborate with offshore teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Lloyd's market practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of (Re)insurance concepts and practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Degree-level education; progress toward insurance qualifications like CII Dip is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational team plans and determine work priorities to achieve team objectives.
• Deliver reports such as exception reports, performance data, and regulatory-focused documentation.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide effective services while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support offshore teams and align with Underwriter expectations.
