Placements24 seeks a reliable Local Goods Delivery Driver for Randburg, SA. The role requires a valid Code 8/10 license and PDP is desirable, with 2+ years local delivery experience. Hybrid schedule with on-site coordination and some remote admin tasks.

You\'ll load, deliver, and document goods, while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining logs. The position offers an opportunity to work with a well‑equipped fleet, training in delivery protocols, and potential career progression

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver\'s license (Code 8 or 10) and PDP is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years proven local delivery driving experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Randburg and wider Gauteng road network.
• Good physical condition with ability to lift and carry packages.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic.
• Must own a smartphone for navigation and communication.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including some remote administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers\' premises in Randburg area within timeframes.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans or light trucks) in compliance with laws and policies.
• Load and unload goods with proper handling.
• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for efficiency.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Obtain proof of delivery with signatures and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage and fuel records.
• Communicate delivery status to dispatch and management.
• Assist with inventory and depot organization as needed.
