Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Lead Thermal Engineer to deliver heat transfer analyses and CAE-driven solutions across multi-disciplinary projects. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and experience with ANSYS, MATLAB, and Python in regulated environments.

Hybrid work is offered with 2–3 days on-site at Stevenage or Bristol. Security clearance: British or dual UK with British citizenship; BPSS checks after offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving with heat transfer analysis knowledge.
• Experience using CAE tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, Python) in a regulated design/manufacturing context.
