MBDA UK is seeking a Lead Thermal Engineer to lead a range of projects requiring heat transfer analyses for mechanical and electronic systems. You will apply CAE tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, Python) and drive technical solutions in a regulated environment, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days on-site at Stevenage or Bristol, and eligibility for security clearance. MBDA UK values flexibility, career development, and collaboration across teams.
Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days onsite at Stevenage or Bristol offices on-site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
