Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an experienced Customer Communications Squad Lead to drive data-driven, 1:1 marketing communications across channels in a hybrid UK role based in Swindon or London.

You’ll lead a cross-functional squad, translate strategy into plans, and deliver measurable outcomes for customers and the business while ensuring governance, accessibility and regulatory compliance. Flexible hours: 28–35 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large cross-functional teams delivering 1:1 marketing communications.
• Experience planning and delivering complex, data-driven 1:1 marketing campaigns.
• Experience using customer insight and performance data to improve campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary squad to create and deliver customer communications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Marketing, CX, Content Designers, Risk and Compliance.
• Shape communication strategies and journeys using insights and trends.
• Monitor and evaluate communication performance; embed lessons learned.
• Governance and risk management to meet brand, accessibility, and regulatory requirements.
