Job summary

Railpen Limited is seeking a Level 1 Business Analyst to turn business needs into clear requirements and practical improvements across the Change & Transformation portfolio. You’ll work with experienced analysts, project managers and technical teams to document and deliver outcomes that meet governance standards and timelines.

You’ll develop core BA capability through coaching, hands-on experience and participation in the wider BA community, with opportunities to take ownership on simpler work

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes or data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with business and tech audiences.
• Good stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements to clarify needs.
• Map processes, capture data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation and maps.
• Coordinate stakeholder input and workshops for effective delivery.
• Assist with testing preparation and evidence gathering.
• Communicate progress, decisions and next steps to stakeholders.
