Job summary

IV C Evidensia is seeking a Service Desk Engineer to deliver friendly, customer-focused IT support for colleagues across the organisation. This hybrid role involves assisting users with hardware and software issues, logging and tracking tickets, and ensuring timely resolutions.

Based in the UK and predominantly office-based at our Keynsham location, with remote support and occasional out-of-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows client OS and Office 365.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems, remote support tools, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for IT-related queries and log tickets with accurate details.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, printers, and mobiles.
• Resolve incidents or escalate where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide desk-side support at the Keynsham office as required.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with users and document progress.
