Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Coventry-based, hybrid role. The position leads mid-to-large scale projects end-to-end, partnering with BAs, engineers and developers.

You will mentor peers and manage governance, budgets and benefits tracking to deliver value. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of PM experience, Prince2/APM credentials, and strong MS Project/Azure DevOps skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience delivering mid-to-large IT projects end-to-end.
• Open industry background across any sector welcome.
• Broad technical acumen in software delivery, infrastructure, applications, and integration.
• PM credentials: PRINCE2, APM or equivalent.
• Tool proficiency with Microsoft Project, Planner, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Pragmatic, collaborative style with ability to motivate teams.
• Stakeholder influence: translate technical concepts into business value.
• Nice-to-haves: exposure to Data & AI or experience with CDE/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Delivery leadership and mentorship across medium to large initiatives.
• High-touch stakeholder management with senior leaders and vendors.
• Develop business cases, scopes, budgets and benefit tracking.
• Governance and PMO health reporting up to boards.
• Choose and apply Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methods across projects.
• Plan, schedule, and resource across critical paths and dependencies.
• Identify risks, manage changes, and unblock delivery.
• Oversee testing plans, quality gates and handover to operations.
• Facilitate post-implementation reviews and knowledge sharing.
