Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of healthcare and laboratory automation projects. The role spans end-to-end IT delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement across Cardiff and Essex, with hybrid work and on-site visits as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in diagnostics/medical tech projects, Prince2/PMP, and a background in IT/infrastructure delivery. Travel to client sites is required up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Technology, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing complex projects in diagnostics, medical technology or laboratory automation.
• Experience with IT infrastructure integration, software delivery and engineering deployments.
• Willingness to travel to Cardiff and Essex up to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex automation projects from inception to go-live.
• Governance, compliance and standardized PM methodology across teams and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows and tender responses.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, field engineers and client leads.
• Manage installation schedules and Go-Live execution at key sites.
