Job summary

Probrand, Birmingham, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to provide remote, telephone and onsite IT support to a diverse client base. The role is hybrid, combining home-based tasks with our Smethwick workshop, and offers a 40-hour week.

You will troubleshoot hardware, networks and Microsoft platforms, visit sites for upgrades, and repair equipment at the workshop, aiming to meet KPIs and SLAs. A background in similar roles and MCP/CompTIA A+ are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support via remote, telephone and onsite visits.
• Strong troubleshooting for computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Windows server and client environments.
• Ability to meet KPIs and SLAs in a busy IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite and professional IT support to customers
• Visit customer sites for scheduled activities such as upgrades and printer installs
• Repair equipment at the Technical Workshop
• Work to KPI and SLA targets
