Job summary

Freetrade is seeking an iOS Mobile Engineer to join its engineering team in London. You will contribute to new features and maintain the iOS app, collaborating with backend, design, product and QA to ship high-quality experiences for UK, US and EU users.

You should have 3–5 years of production mobile experience, strong Swift/SwiftUI/Xcode skills, and familiarity with MVVM/MVP/VIPER patterns. The role offers hybrid working with offices in London and Budapest.

Qualifications

• Typical 3–5 years of production mobile app experience.
• Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of MVVM/MVP/VIPER architectures.
• Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
• Experience with reactive libraries like Combine or RxSwift.
• Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines.
• Git version control experience.
• Familiarity with CI/build tools such as CircleCI.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of new features and maintain existing ones in the Freetrade iOS app with high performance and security.
• Collaborate with backend, design, product and QA to ship features.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and help with code quality and releases.
• Participate in support rotation to address customer issues.
