Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications in a banking domain. You will work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires strong Swift/SwiftUI skills, GitLab experience, and solid understanding of MVVM/VIPER/Clean Architecture, with Agile/Scrum practices. Hybrid work includes office, client sites, and home-office arrangements.

Qualifications

• 6 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development patterns.
• Solid hands-on experience with SwiftUI for building native interfaces.
• Experience with GitLab (repositories, branching strategy, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and networking frameworks.
• Familiarity with Unit Testing, UI Testing, and test frameworks (XCTest).
• Strong knowledge of Apple HIG (Human Interface Guidelines).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, QA, Backend) to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Implement clean, reusable, testable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high stability and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and support project delivery from concept to deployment.
