Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join the Treasury Finance team. Based in the Strand office with hybrid working (two days in the office), you will deliver complete financial and management reporting across UK and US operations.

Qualified accountants will partner with debt capital markets and related teams to enhance information and controls. You will work on IFRS/UK GAAP reporting, SAP/BPC applications, and treasury system enhancements while developing skills in treasury

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA membership.
• Strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge and treasury accounting exposure.
• Experience with treasury systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate accounting and financial reporting for Treasury activities.
• Perform monthly balance sheet substantiation and SOX controls.
• Produce Treasury forecasts and analyze movements against rates and volumes.
• Coordinate IFRS reporting for Group Annual Report and disclosures.
• Support regulatory returns and treasury information for OFGEM.
• Enhance Treasury Management Systems and reporting processes.
• Build strong relationships with Treasury and Finance teams.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects with technical accounting input.
