HR Employment Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales Estimator in the United Kingdom. The role involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate commercial quotations for the Sales Team, managing incoming enquiries and building quotes typically ranging between £10,000 and £20,000.

Located on-site with a 42.5-hour week, the position offers a flexible start/finish and one day of home working after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in an estimator/sales estimator role or similar.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience extracting information from specifications to prepare quotations.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with high-value quotations.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming quotation and estimating enquiries from customers and the Sales Team.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specification documents.
• Identify project requirements from drawings and supporting documentation and calculate quantities.
• Prepare accurate, commercially competitive quotations.
• Capture all technical and commercial information before completing quotations.
• Liaise with Sales Team, customers, suppliers and internal departments to clarify requirements.
• Manage multiple quotations in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain records of enquiries, quotations and communications in the CRM.
• Provide supporting quotation documentation and order acknowledgements.
• Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within timescales.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional products or solutions.
• Support Tendering and Sales Teams in progressing opportunities.
