Job summary

Infinity Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to protect and optimise customer environments across Azure and on-premises infrastructure. You will own health, performance and security, proactively resolving issues and ensuring new solutions move smoothly into live service.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with Service Desk, Cyber Security and project teams, delivering secure configurations, patching, change control and robust disaster recovery planning for multiple customer

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server, Azure, networking, virtualization, storage and backup technologies.
• Certifications AZ-800 and AZ-801 provide a strong foundation for the role.
• Experience maintaining secure configurations and ISO 27001 expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day health of customer infrastructure across Azure and on-premises. Monitor availability, performance and capacity.
• Maintain secure configurations, access controls and patching across platforms; support Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
• Act as escalation point for complex infra incidents; diagnose across servers, storage, virtualization, networking and cloud services.
• Plan and deliver patches, upgrades and maintenance with change control, testing and rollback.
• Identify practical ways to improve stability, security and efficiency for customers.
• Work closely with Service Desk, Cyber Security and project teams to ensure future changes are supportable.
