Job summary

Infinity Group is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role in Tunbridge Wells. You will own the health, performance and security of customer Azure and on‑prem environments, preventing issues and resolving complex problems to keep services secure and resilient.

You will work across Service Desk, Cyber Security and project teams to deliver reliable infrastructure, patches, backups and documented runbooks while enabling proactive improvements for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure infrastructure and on‑premises environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, identity, networking, storage and backup tech.
• Familiarity with security requirements and modern infrastructure practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the health, performance and security of Azure and on‑prem environments.
• Prevent issues, resolve complex problems and ensure smooth live transitions.
• Collaborate across Service Desk, Cyber Security and project teams.
• Plan patches, upgrades and change control with testing and rollback.
• Develop runbooks, maintain accurate documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Identify opportunities to improve stability, security and efficiency.
