Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networks Solution Manager/Architect (Pre-Sales) to design secure, scalable on-premise and hybrid cloud solutions for UK clients. You will articulate compelling proposals, develop cost models, and engage with clients to translate complex tech into clear business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing infrastructure and networking solutions, including virtualisation and software-defined technologies.
• A strong track record of contributing to pre-sales proposals, with clear, engaging technical documentation and cost modelling.
• Confidence in engaging with clients and translating complex technical ideas into accessible, relatable language.

Responsibilities

• Design with purpose: Create secure, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure and networking solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Stay ahead: Maintain deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies - compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation and how they can be applied creatively to achieve client outcomes.
• Engage and inspire: Build trusted relationships with clients, listen actively to their challenges, and clearly communicate how your solutions bring value.
• Craft compelling proposals: Contribute to high-quality bids with clear technical documentation, architecture visuals, and cost models that reflect both innovation and practicality.
• Champion compliance: Ensure all solutions meet UK government regulations and security standards, including GDPR and NCSC guidelines.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with sales, delivery, and engineering colleagues to ensure smooth transitions from design to implementation.
