Job summary

Guardian Jobs advertises an Impact and Evaluation Officer role in Reading, split between Horizons and home. The position supports the Widening Participation team, developing evaluation frameworks, turning data into insights, and demonstrating the impact of educational initiatives.

The role uses both qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive improvement, influence priorities and help deliver the university’s mission to create accessible opportunities and improve student success in built

Qualifications

• Experience conducting programme, project or service evaluations.
• Experience monitoring outcomes and measuring impact against objectives.
• Knowledge of impact evaluation methodologies.
• Strong report-writing and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve evaluation frameworks for institutional projects, programmes and interventions.
• Produce dashboards, scorecards and performance reports for senior leaders and committees.
• Engage with sector networks to identify emerging best practice in evaluation, student outcomes and widening participation.
