Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is looking for an experienced HR Officer to handle a variety of casework on a five-month contract in Bolton. The role is hybrid, with three days on site and two days remote, supporting managers through the full case management cycle and delivering HR guidance.

Ideal candidates will have CIPD Level 5 and proven experience in grievances, disciplinaries, capability and absence matters, preferably within the public sector.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HR casework including grievances, disciplinaries, capability and absence.
• Strong knowledge of HR procedures and employment practices.
• Experience in public sector environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of HR casework including grievances, disciplinaries, capability, absence and conduct matters.
• Support managers throughout the full case management process
• Prepare documentation, correspondence and reports relating to HR casework
• Attend formal meetings and hearings
• Provide procedural guidance and HR advice to managers
