Job summary

Templewood Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Generalist HR professional to work within a HR team with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations and business partnering. The role supports operational managers on staffing decisions, disciplinary, attendance and performance issues, ensuring compliant staff records and training requirements.

The role is full-time, hybrid between field visits to Aylesbury/Bucks and head office in Slough, with occasional travel to homes within the operation when

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE at least 2 years’ generalist HR experience with Employee Relations and staff performance management
• Strong spoken English; listening, writing, communication and presentation skills
• Full driving licence and access to own car to visit company homes if required
• People centric and able to positively engage the workforce
• Experience advising line managers and supporting operations

Responsibilities

• Support the operations management team to handle performance concerns using company policies
• Coach and mentor managers to deliver HR best practice
• Build effective relationships with line managers and upskill them
• Identify early performance concerns and contribute to interventions
• Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are applied correctly
• Conduct exit interviews and feed actions to improve retention
• Work with operations to ensure staff supervisions and appraisals are effective
• Handle HR matters fairly and in line with legal and company requirements
