Job summary

Dr. Martens is seeking a Group Technical Reporting Manager to join our Group Reporting team. You’ll work with colleagues across finance and sustainability to strengthen reporting, policies, and technical capabilities for IFRS and UK standards.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely disclosures and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, supporting profitable growth and better decision‑making across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with IFRS knowledge and external reporting experience.
• Experience supporting external audits and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Strong accounting policy governance and sustainability reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical accounting, sustainability and external reporting, including financial statements and papers for senior stakeholders.
• Own Group Accounting policies and Accounting Manual; ensure currency and alignment with standards and changes.
• Provide expert support on IFRS implementation, impairment reviews, and technical position papers; coordinate audits and sustainability reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Sustainability, Investor Relations, FP&A, Risk and Governance to standardise reporting processes.
• Contribute to disciplined financial leadership and cross‑functional collaboration across the group.
