Building Careers UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to manage post-contract commercial activities on a £3.5m Derby groundworks package. The role combines on-site oversight with remote-friendly elements, offering a permanent or freelance path depending on candidate preference.

You will control costs, prepare CVRs, manage subcontracts, and ensure timely final accounts while coordinating with the project team to deliver on budget and programme.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks / civil engineering.
• Experience managing post-contract commercial activities.
• Strong cost control and forecasting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Post-contract commercial management of the 3.5m groundworks package.
• Managing project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing and reviewing CVRs and financial reports.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Reviewing valuations and final accounts.
• Liaising with main contractor, client and supply chain.
