Job summary

Wilkinson & Associates is seeking a Purchase to Pay Transformation Lead to drive a major Finance Transformation programme from a base near Glasgow, with hybrid working. This two-year fixed-term role focuses on shaping and delivering P2P improvements across a complex, global environment.

You will lead the P2P workstream, partner with Finance, Procurement and stakeholders, simplifying processes, strengthening controls and creating scalable, future-ready P2P models.

Qualifications

• Strong Purchase to Pay or accounts payable experience.
• Experience in transformation, process improvement or process standardisation.
• Exposure to ERP implementation or systems change would be beneficial.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to turn complex challenges into practical, workable solutions.
• A collaborative approach and confidence challenging existing ways of working.
• Experience within a global or complex organisation would be advantageous.
• LEAN or Six Sigma experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Purchase to Pay workstream as part of a wider Finance Transformation programme.
• Shape and improve end-to-end P2P processes and ways of working.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Support the design and implementation of systems and process change.
• Translate transformation priorities into clear plans and deliverable actions.
• Manage key risks, dependencies and workstream priorities.
• Provide P2P expertise throughout the wider ERP transformation.
• Help develop the longer-term roadmap for Purchase to Pay.
• Establish meaningful KPIs to support performance and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement and the wider business.
