Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join the Housing Services team. You will collect and analyse spatial data, create maps and web-based GIS solutions to support service planning and informed decisions across the Council.

Using GIS and Power BI, you will contribute to data quality, manage datasets, and produce insights for colleagues and stakeholders. The role offers hybrid working and a pro rata salary for part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Collect, cleanse and manage spatial data ensuring data accuracy.
• Analyse data from a range of sources to support housing services delivery.
• Produce accurate maps, web apps and GIS products to support operational teams.
• Ensure that data regulations and procedures for digital data are observed.
• Produce reports using Business Objects and Power BI to help inform decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide location-based spatial analysis to support service planning.
• Manage digital spatial datasets and promote GIS use across the organisation.
• Create maps, visualisations, reports and web-based solutions for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Housing Services and Corporate GIS Team to maintain data quality.
