Job summary

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a motivated GIS and Planning Policy Assistant to join the Planning Information Team. You will help develop and maintain the Council's GIS, manage spatial data resources, and support planning policy evidence.

The role involves creating, managing and analyzing geographic data, preparing spatial data for planning policy documents and consultations, and collaborating with colleagues, elected members and the public to deliver accurate spatial information.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS and spatial data management.
• Ability to create and manage mapping products and data for planning policy.
• Strong communication and collaboration with colleagues and the public.
