Job summary

Meraki Talent in Glasgow's Financial Services district is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join a newly created role. You will maintain accurate NAV calculations, reconcile cash, positions and market values, and prepare financial statements for investment and hedge funds.

You will support audits, ensure regulatory compliance with GAAP/IFRS, stay updated on changes, and help implement process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance.
• ACCA / ICAS qualification preferred.
• Experience in fund accounting in asset management.
• Understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
• Proficiency with accounting software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Calculate NAVs daily, weekly, or monthly for investment funds.
• Reconcile cash, positions, and market values for NAV accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve NAV discrepancies.
