Job summary

Donard Recruitment is seeking a Functional Specialist for hybrid working roles across Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic fields. You will manage end-to-end caseloads, deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports.

Applicants must be registered with NMC or HCPC, have at least 1 year post-qualification experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 1+ years post-qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end caseloads including face-to-face and virtual assessments.
• Conduct telephone assessments and initial review calls.
• Produce paper-based reports (PBR) and ensure case progression to conclusion.
• Allocate time for CPD, evidence review and team meetings.
