Job summary

Advo Health, part of the Ascenti Group, is hiring Functional Assessors for hybrid roles combining centre-based and home-based work. You will conduct telephone, video or in-person consultations, assess a range of physical and mental health conditions, and produce detailed reports to support benefit decisions.

No prior Functional Assessor experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers around 60% face-to-face work and 40% remote work with a balanced schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with at least 12 months post-registration experience.
• Eligible professions: Nurses (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics.
• Full registration with NMC, HCPC or GPhC required.

Responsibilities

• Hold telephone, video or in-person consultations with claimants.
• Assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Apply clinical reasoning to understand how health impacts daily living.
• Produce accurate, evidence-based reports using IT and written communication skills.
• Collaborate with your manager to support your development as a Functional Assessor.
