Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in London is seeking a versatile full-stack software engineer to own internal tooling for an AI-native game development studio. You will build the systems and UX powering next-gen experiences, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to translate requirements into intuitive tools and workflows.

You’ll take end-to-end ownership of features, respond to developer feedback, and evolve tools to enable teams of all sizes to ship experiences not previously

Qualifications

• Experience building maintainable TypeScript/React frontends at scale.
• Strong Python back-end or tooling development experience.
• Familiarity with frontend state management (Tanstack Query, Zustand).
• Proficient with Git and standard software engineering practices.
• Collaborative mindset across designers, artists, and engineers.
• Interest in game design and interactive entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Own and build internal tooling and workflows for game teams.
• Develop full-stack applications enabling designers and writers.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to translate needs into tools.
• Maintain narrative systems and creator-facing tooling.
• Iterate quickly based on developer feedback and real-world use.
• Write performant, scalable production code.
