SaleCycle is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Gateshead, operating with hybrid working. You will ship features end to end across React front end and C#/.NET and Go backend services, and work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver AI-driven personalization and analytics.

You’ll grow across the stack, balance depth on one side with breadth on the other, and contribute to scalable multi-tenant SaaS solutions while embracing a fast-moving, merger-aware environment.

Qualifications

• Around 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep, hands-on expertise on one side of the stack: C#/.NET or Go backend, or React/TypeScript frontend.
• Solid, hands-on experience on the other side: React/TypeScript for backend-led profiles, C#/.NET or Go for frontend-led profiles.
• Genuine interest in working across the stack and learning new languages.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, still-forming engineering organisation post-merger.
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving standards.
• Familiar with git or other distributed source control systems.

Responsibilities

• Shipping features end-to-end across our stack: React/TypeScript front end, C#/.NET and Go backend services.
• Designing and building services and APIs within a multi-tenant SaaS architecture serving e-commerce customers at scale.
• Building clear, responsive UI that surfaces analytics, intent scoring, and decisioning outputs to our brands and internal teams.
• Working across the API boundary to shape clean, well-documented contracts between front-end and backend services.
• Growing your skills in the languages outside your current comfort zone, with support and pairing from the team.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, testable design).
• Collaborating within an agile, Scrum-driven team, participating in sprints and planning sessions.
• Contributing to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring of production systems.
• Engaging in peer code reviews and sharing knowledge across our France and UK teams.
