Job summary

Butler Rose is recruiting for an FP&A / Finance & Business Analyst role in Kendal. The position is hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days remote) and permanent, reporting to the Finance Director.

You will perform financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and provide insights across an international organisation. The ideal candidate has FP&A or financial analysis background, with skills in Excel and stakeholder engagement, and a focus on turning data into clear business insights.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drivers.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting or performance reporting.
• Able to communicate conclusions to non-financial stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of drivers of business performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial, operational and commercial data to identify trends and key drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and forward-looking financial analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models, reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs.
• Lead weekly revenue forecast calls and provide updates to the US organisation.
• Investigate variances and performance movements and identify drivers.
• Prepare financial commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and business leaders for informed decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and ways of working.
• Support reporting tools, systems and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to system implementations and transformation projects.
