Job summary

Butler Rose Ltd in Kendal is recruiting an FP&A / Finance & Business Analyst to join a finance-focused analytical team. The role blends financial planning, analysis, forecasting, commercial insight and business improvement under the Finance Director.

You will analyse data, build models, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide insight to senior stakeholders across an international organisation. Previous FP&A or finance analysis experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and analytical skills to interpret complex data.
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication with non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of drivers of business performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial, operational and commercial data to identify trends and drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and forward-looking financial analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models, reports and dashboards.
• Lead weekly revenue forecast calls and report to the US organisation.
• Investigate variances and performance movements.
• Prepare clear financial commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Work with Finance, Operations and leaders to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
• Support reporting tools, systems and automation projects.
• Contribute to system implementations and transformation initiatives.
