Job summary

Orka Financial is partnering with a global business in Bracknell to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their client’s finance team. The role offers hybrid working and clear progression opportunities.

You will work with the Finance Manager, developing skills in financial reporting, technical accounting and varied finance projects while studying ACCA or CIMA, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently studying ACCA or CIMA.
• Some experience in financial accounting, reporting or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Confident handling financial information and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of internal management information and business reports.
• Support the external audit, responding to day-to-day queries and providing supporting information.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Keep up to date with changes to accounting standards and relevant legislation.
• Help assess new accounting requirements and support the implementation of appropriate accounting treatments.
• Support the preparation of management accounts, liaising with relevant third parties and completing period-end closure activities.
• Carry out additional analysis and ad hoc reporting for finance management.
• Contribute to finance projects and wider business initiatives requiring finance input.
• Assist the Finance Manager with internal and external matters.
