Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager for a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in the UK. The role offers flexible hybrid working and exposure to a diverse client base, from SMEs to multinational groups, with a focus on growth, collaboration and excellence.

Key duties include managing year-end statutory accounts, ensuring compliant and high-quality financial reporting, mentoring junior staff, and supporting business development of advisory services.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA qualified accountant or equivalent with practical experience in statutory accounts preparation and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards including FRS102 and IFRS, with strong analytical skills.
• Confident communicator capable of building professional relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients, leading the delivery of year-end statutory accounts and financial reporting.
• Liaise with audit teams to ensure compliance and high-quality outputs.
• Review junior team members’ work, provide feedback and support their development.
