Job summary

GRW Talent's client, a Scottish textiles manufacturer, seeks a Financial Controller to lead a small finance team with a smart balance of month-end close, cash management, costing and forecasting, across Dundee and Kirriemuir.

Reporting to the CFO, you will manage payroll, VAT/duty, audits and banking relationships, driving SAP integration, multi-currency planning and robust financial controls for a growing global manufacturing business with ambitious expansion plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and Finance; ACCA or CIMA qualified preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/construction environments is desirable.
• Multi-currency exposure and SAP/ERP integration knowledge are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow with budget commentary.
• Cash and working capital management and forecasting.
• FX management, hedging and currency exposure oversight.
• Costing, margin control, standard costing and variance analysis.
• Payroll, VAT/duty compliance, and customs management.
• Lead audits, statutory accounts, and banking relationships.
• Budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning for growth.
• Provide pricing support with margin data by product and market.
