Michael Page is recruiting a Financial Controller for a Birmingham-based manufacturing client. You will oversee financial operations, including budgets, reporting, and decision-support analytics, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Lead preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Own the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Manage group consolidation and balance sheet integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory reporting and compliance with UK GAAP.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly close processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare management packs for senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in processes, controls and data integrity.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
