Manpower, Inc. in Coventry is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our UK finance team. You will ensure financial accuracy and control, produce monthly contract P&L, and manage balance sheet reconciliations across entities.

You will work with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate reporting. The role emphasizes process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and alignment with group policies while supporting operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong accounting principles.
• Experience inBalance Sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and control processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Keen eye for detail with ability to see the bigger picture.
• Strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Line management of one direct report with coaching and feedback.
• Assist Financial Controller with month-end consolidation for UK entities.
• Calculate and post monthly cost recharges to contract P&L accounts.
• Flag data quality issues to Finance Partners and work with ops to improve.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Ensure accuracy in source data with cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify and implement process improvements for month-end and daily tasks.
