Page Personnel is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a growing Coventry-based finance team. This hybrid role requires an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification and solid financial accounting experience.

You will prepare financial statements, manage month-end and year-end close, and support audits while liaising with internal stakeholders to drive insights. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Formación

• A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Experience in preparing financial statements and handling audits
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Business partnering with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
