Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking a Finance Systems Transformation Lead for a 6-month interim, hybrid role. You will modernise finance systems, streamline processes and improve reporting, combining systems expertise with accounting insight.

Responsibilities include identifying inefficiencies, delivering automation, strengthening controls and embedding new procedures with SUN Systems, Dynamics and Excel. Stakeholder engagement across finance and non‑finance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance systems transformation and process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review existing finance systems and processes to identify issues and automation opportunities.
• Lead improvements through to implementation and embed new processes.
• Review month-end procedures, reconciliations, reporting and internal controls.
• Improve financial reporting capabilities and develop budget templates and tools.
• Coordinate with SUN Systems, Dynamics and Excel to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Enhance expenses and procurement procedures and provide guidance.
