Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking a Finance Systems Transformation Lead for a six-month interim assignment. The role focuses on modernising finance systems, processes and reporting, combining technical accounting with process improvement to deliver automation, stronger controls and more efficient day-to-day finance operations.

The position requires hands-on system knowledge (SUN Systems, Dynamics, Excel) and proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage priorities and drive successful finance system

Qualifications

• Recognised accountancy qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Finance Transformation or similar role.
• Track record of identifying problems in finance systems and delivering improvements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial reporting and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review finance systems and processes to identify issues and automation opportunities.
• Lead improvements through to implementation with proper documentation.
• Review month-end procedures, reconciliations, reporting and controls.
• Develop budgeting templates and reporting tools.
