Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an IMPACT Management Accountant to support the IMPACT commissioning hub within the East Midlands region. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial information, budgets and forecasts for designated services, with liaison to service managers and budget holders.

You will assist the IMPACT Finance Manager in planning, budgeting and financial reporting, ensuring timely and compliant financial data, and contributing to system

Qualifications

• Commitment to studying (AAT member or equivalent).
• Familiar with general ledger systems and financial data handling.
• Ability to work on own initiative while prioritising workload.
• Direct liaison with budget managers and service managers to interpret financial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial information and guidance to service managers.
• Assist IMPACT Finance Manager in preparing budgets and forecasts for designated services.
• Analyse and prepare detailed financial statements & forecasts for reporting.
• Maintain accuracy of financial entries to ensure integrity of the financial position.
• Support month/year end close down of the general ledger and related processes.
