Job summary

JMG Group, a private equity-backed insurance brokerage headquartered near Leeds, seeks a Finance Operations Accountant to join its finance reporting team at the HQ by Leeds Bradford Airport. You will maintain records, manage purchase ledger, credit control, introducer payments, and support year-end audits.

You will work autonomously on volume-based tasks across multiple entities, ideally with AAT Level 3 or equivalent and 2+ years in insurance or financial services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Financial Operations function.
• AAT Level 3 or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in Insurance or Financial Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete finance operational records.
• Code cost centres and manage workflow approvals for purchase ledger invoices, cards and staff expenses.
• Perform credit control and aged debt management.
