Job summary

Harvey John are assisting a growing business near Bexhill-on-Sea in recruiting a Finance Manager for a hybrid role with 2 days from home.

Salary £60,000–£70,000 per year. You will lead a small finance team, oversee transactions, VAT, credit control and cash flow, and prepare management accounts across entities.

The role reports to the Group CFO and could evolve into a Financial Controller; benefits include private medical, on-site parking, and ongoing home-working.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) preferred.
• Hands-on with a small team and growth mindset.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Training and managing a small team (2).
• Overseeing transactional finance activities and processes.
• VAT returns and compliance.
• Credit control management and cash flow forecasting.
• Preparing management accounts across multiple entities.
• Supporting the FD with budgeting and forecasting.
