Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a growing leisure organisation for a commercially focused Head of Finance. You will work closely with the CFO, combining financial control, FP&A and hands-on business partnering to shape performance across a multi-site portfolio.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the core finance function, deliver monthly management accounts and budgeting, provide commercial insight, and develop KPI reporting to support operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong blend of commercial finance, business partnering and financial control experience.
• Experience in multi-site environments such as leisure, hospitality, retail or similar.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis capability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Hands-on approach in a growing organisation and improving processes, reporting and finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management accounts and financial reporting process.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting across multiple sites.
• Provide commercial insight and actionable recommendations to support performance improvement.
• Partner with General Managers and operational leaders to review financial performance and drive accountability.
• Develop meaningful KPI reporting, dashboards and performance analysis.
• Deliver cash flow forecasts, scenario modelling and business cases.
• Support pricing reviews, investment appraisals and capex decisions.
• Lead year-end audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes.
• Coach and develop members of the finance team.
• Drive a culture of commercial awareness, accountability and continuous improvement.
