MacGregor Black is partnering with an established international consumer goods manufacturer to appoint a Finance Director, based in Leeds. The role is hybrid, three days per week in the office, combining strategic financial leadership with hands-on control of the finance function.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with senior finance leadership experience.
• Manufacturing/consumer goods or FMCG background preferred.
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning.

Responsabilités

• Lead the finance function with robust financial control and governance.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and long-term planning.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to improve cost control, production efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee product costing, gross margin analysis, inventory and cost of goods sold.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support strategic decisions.
• Drive working capital management and ensure strong financial position.
• Oversee month-end reporting, statutory accounts, tax compliance and year-end processes.
• Lead and develop the finance team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
