Job summary
Siemens Mobility Limited is seeking a Technical Field Services Assistant Engineer to join the team in Ashby on a hybrid basis, operating in a demanding field environment. The role involves understanding specifications and delivering engineering maintenance, post-installation and commissioning services to meet customer requirements.
The position requires hands-on experience in maintenance, emergency support, and effective collaboration with stakeholders to ensure safety and quality across varied
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or equivalent is required.
- Proven installation and commissioning of SCADA/control systems is desirable.
- Emergency callout duties including telephone support and fault diagnosis are expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering maintenance support, post-project installation and commissioning services.
- Offer 24/7 maintenance support including telephone assistance and on-site presence as needed.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Install, commission and replace equipment components to meet specifications.
- Diagnose faults, test equipment and develop improvements to engineering products/processes.
