Thames Water is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead a frontline field engineers team covering the Thames Valley network in South Oxfordshire. The role demands safe operations 24/7 and strong stakeholder collaboration across planning, contractors, and internal teams.

You will participate in an on-call rota with additional pay, drive a culture of safety and service, and manage performance against key metrics. Hybrid working pattern with site visits to other locations.

Qualifications

• Lead a frontline field operations team to maintain asset performance and customer service.
• Ensure safety and health standards are strictly followed.
• Build relationships with planning teams, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Participate in out-of-hours standby rota with additional pay.

Responsibilities

• Performance manage a field operations team to deliver asset maintenance and service targets.
• Monitor and drive performance against key metrics and respond to issues promptly.
• Develop team members through coaching, meetings, and development plans.
• Promote engagement and motivation within the team.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess output quality and safety practices.
• Ensure safe working practices comply with company procedures.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and service.
